Ya its updating time,
Well for those of you faithful folks who have been reading this blog and praying for us. Thank you. Our time back in Singapore during the summer was awesome. But my recent trip to Japan is purely the Grace of God. I didn't know what to expect and did not plan to meet too many people or having too many meetings but the Lord has other plans. I was able to meet more people than I had anticipated and to have more meetings than have been planned. Thanks a million to Hikari Matsuzaki who was responsible for lining up most of the meetings and also for being the main translator throughout the three week trip. Apart from interpreting to Japanese she also did it in Spanish. It was harder to switch to Spanish after all the Japanese spoken.
Relationships, restoration and reconciliation was like the main theme for this trip, and I have to say that it is all the Lord's doing. The message He puts in my heart was just what His people needed. It was His grace!!
Meeting up with Bryce & Colleen Mckay, Nob & Emerita Sakai and Akira Mori was great. I also managed to catch up with some faithful prayer partners like Soma-san and Pastor Joseph Saoshiro and his family amazing.
It is all about touching lives through ours.
While in Dubai I saw a slogan which I thought would be my emphasis in the coming year,
It says, "We think outside the box so that you may not have to live in one". This is a challenge to constantly think outside the box for the sake of others.
Dubai was great too. I met with a fellow church mate and stayed with him for a couple of days and met up with some Singaporean believers and had a great time of fellowship.
Coming back to the UK provided more challenges not only having to think about the people I work with but about the people I have been ministering to. They are equally important in the sight of God and I have to make sure they are given priority. Its not always easy since I am not seen a lot in the office.
Well it s purely the Grace of God that has kept us all here. We are grateful that His grace brought us beyond ourselves to touch others. Praise the Lord!! Have a nice day.
For Him
